ANOTHER LIFE IS OUT NOW – WATCH IT HERE

A couple things...
Hi all, welcome to my new site! It was offline for a few years cuz times were tough and it will likely get neglected from time to time but fear not, thats what Tiktok, Instagram & Facebook are for amirite??? Follow me there for the up to date info.
The BIG new right now is that I am releasing a new album titled "Harbour" on November 27th. It was a labour of love to work on as it timestamps and higlights such a pivotal and emotionally rich era of my life – that being the birth of my firstborn daughter and moving back to Halifax for the 6 months last year.
Some other news to report is that ..TOURS ARE FINALLY HAPPENING AGAIN (As you can see above) so I hope to meet and converse with as many of you as humanly possible out there on the road.
Til then,
xo JB
BIO
In an era shaped by artificial intelligence and algorithms, Jon Bryant remains defiantly, beautifully human—no spectacle, no posturing, just songs that meet listeners where they are.
That spirit runs through his forthcoming album, Harbour: a record built on small, meaningful details rather than big statements, anchored in the unflinching honesty that has defined his work for 15 years. Harbour was co-produced with longtime friend Brennan Aerts, and finds Bryant fully recommitting to his folk foundations—acoustic
instruments, clear arrangements, and straightforward songwriting.
Written as he prepared to move back to his native Nova Scotia, Harbour feels like a homecoming, shaped by a major life shift with fatherhood on the horizon.
The songs move between social reflection and personal reckoning: “Hard to Be Human” wrestles with disconnection and division; “See You Thru” revisits his brief involvement with NXIVM and the instincts it sharpened; and “Take Heart” confronts regret and distance
from his younger brothers. The track features fellow folk artist and longtime friend Rose Betts, whose ethereal vocals add a gentle counterpoint.
Across five full-length albums and multiple EPs, Bryant has built a career on emotional transparency and an unpretentious approach to making music. Harbour is the culmination of that return to self—an honest, roots-forward album made with trusted collaborators, and a reminder that staying human is still the point.

I'd Love to hear from you
